Triggerfish Studio : Trois longs métrages en Production

Les studios Triggerfish sont basés en Afrique du sud. Leurs premiers travaux en Animation remontent à l'année 1996, où ils réalisèrent des spots publicitaires comptés parmis les plus mémorables en Afrique du sud...
Depuis, ils ont travaillé sur pas mal de projets dont ce très beau court métrage Fish are friends. Actuellement, trois long métrages, Zambézia, Khumba et Katsuba seraient en production chez eux. Notons donc que plusieurs longs métrages sont en course en ce moment même pour être le premier du continent entièrement réalisé en 3D.

Voilà ce que j'ai pu lire sur le site du Studio d'animation Sud Africain Character Matters... Mais bon, je ne pense pas que ce Long métrage "The lion of Judha" dont ils parlent soit finalement sortit à la date prévue (Novembre 2009) ... Mais je me trompe peut être.

The Lion Of Judah is being produced by Animated Family Films of Coral Springs in Florida - and co-produced by Sunrise Productions.
Sunrise Productions is based in South Africa but little else of the movie gives me the idea that this is made in SA.
The film is also being licensed by Licensed 2 Thrill in Atlanta, Georgia, USA - and will be released first in the USA...

So where does Africa fit in with all this??

The animation doesn't look like it's even close to the quality of Pixar, Aardman etc so I'm not sure how well it will do on the circuit...

De toutes manières, attendons de voir si ce film sortira avant les 3 ou 4 autres longs métrages en Production (même s'il sortira à priori aux USA ;-) )
